A tour of our new workshop....Part 2: The Factory Floor
As promised, here's part 2....showing a number of builds in progress.
The huge amount of extra space allows us to work far more efficiently as we can construct a lot of cabinets (as you can see!!!) - and still have room to access the interior and exterior of each machine.
The other plus is the abundance of natural light through the high windows, slab tilt construction and great airflow, which is way cooler than our old workspace. It gets bloody hot up here in sub-tropical Queensland.
Cabinets themselves take a few days to put together, when you take into account the time for glue/decals etc. to cure. We never rush or compromise on this because it impacts the strength and appearance of client machines.
Once the cabinet is built/stickered, the interior can be finalized pretty quickly - for arcade cabinets, at least.
Pinball interiors can take two to three days.
We then test each machine, and prep them for freight or pickup.
Please check out our other videos on YouTube to get an idea of why it takes so much time to build our machines. It's not just about the number of components involved, but also the care we take to make things not only neat, but safe and durable. Our modular, systematic approach also makes it easier to diagnose and repair faults should a component such as a solenoid, joystick, or button fail at any point.
We build to a standard, not a price point - across our entire range.
